Developed large-scale, custom, Adobe After Effects-based scripts and interfaces to handle daily creation of episode-specific Map animations. Script features included: restructured workflow to allow effective clustering of decision making, automation of all labor-intensive organizational processes, intelligent automatic connection of object properties allowing animation re-timing to be vastly simplified, custom format for storage and access of external resources, and numerous time-saving capabilities. Reduced production time by an estimated 50%.
Analyzed department-wide user needs to design and develop custom dashboard displays of department projects, to more closely monitor workload distribution, and deadlines.
In addition, drew, animated, designed, and output in-show map animation video files for handoff to editing department.

Conceptualized, designed, and animated all in-show motion graphics for 10-episode season including many 30-second+ animations. Techniques used included: storyboarding of animations and building pre-vis animatics, building virtual sets out of 2D assets, as well as creating numerous animation rigs for ease of re-timing. Consulted with show runners regarding best approaches for visualizing abstract and fantastical concepts.
